Although China has seen a big dip in the number of new SARS cases, CAS researchers never slack off in their studies on the epidemic. To facilitate the further exchanges of research information , the academy has initiated a new website: "SARS and beyonds"(www.sars.ac.cn).
The information platform, which is in Chinese, covers a wide range of topics on SARS research. Some columns such as Research Progress, Support & Concern, and Report & Comments will be devoted to the in-house development at CAS, while others, including Basic Research and Medication & Vaccines, are to keep a close look on world advances. There are also channels on research administration and profiles of researchers. The website will publish a chronicle of major development of SARS research.
